How To Cancel MGM Plus

To cancel MGM Plus: 1. Check who bills you. If the charge comes from MGM+, cancel in your MGM+ profile; if it comes from Amazon, Apple, Google, Roku, YouTube TV, or a TV provider, cancel there. 2. For direct billing, sign in at mgmplus.com, open your profile, go to your subscription or billing settings, and choose Cancel. 3. For third-party billing, open that store's subscription page and turn off renewal. Deleting the app does not cancel the subscription, and you should keep the confirmation email until the charge stops.

First: Find Out Who Bills You

MGM+ is sold directly on MGM's website and through several other storefronts. That is the whole cancellation puzzle: the app you watch in is not always the company that charges your card. Start with your bank statement or receipt email.

  • MGM+ or MGM Plus means you likely subscribed directly through mgmplus.com.
  • Amazon or Prime Video means you added MGM+ as a Prime Video Channel or Amazon app subscription.
  • Apple means the subscription is tied to your Apple ID.
  • Google means it is billed through Google Play.
  • Roku means Roku controls the renewal.
  • YouTube TV, Sling, DIRECTV, cable, or another provider means MGM+ is a premium add-on inside that provider account.

If you sign in to MGM+ and there is no cancel button, do not keep clicking around the app. That usually means MGM+ is only your viewing account and another company owns the billing.

Cancel A Direct MGM+ Subscription

  1. Go to mgmplus.com in a browser and sign in.
  2. Open your profile or account menu.
  3. Choose the subscription, billing, or plan-management section.
  4. Select Cancel Subscription or Cancel Plan.
  5. Follow every confirmation screen until the account shows an end date or canceled status.

MGM+ describes its plan pages as cancel-anytime subscriptions, but the exact buttons can move as the site changes. If the profile page is blank, use the official MGM+ help center or contact page while signed in so support can see the account.

Cancel MGM+ Through Amazon Or Prime Video Channels

Amazon is one of the most common MGM+ billing routes because MGM+ is available as a Prime Video Channel and as an Amazon Appstore subscription.

  1. Go to Amazon Memberships & Subscriptions.
  2. Sign in with the Amazon account that pays for the channel.
  3. Find MGM+ and choose Manage Subscription.
  4. Choose Cancel or turn off auto-renewal, then confirm.

Cancel MGM+ On Apple, Google Play, Or Roku

Apple

On iPhone or iPad, open Settings, tap your name, tap Subscriptions, choose MGM+, and tap Cancel Subscription. On Apple TV, use Settings > Users and Accounts > your account > Subscriptions. The same flow is covered in our iPhone cancellation guide.

Google Play

Open the Play Store, tap your profile icon, choose Payments & subscriptions > Subscriptions, select MGM+, and tap Cancel subscription. You can also start from Google's subscription page in a browser. See How To Cancel A Subscription On Google Play for the step-by-step version.

Roku

Sign in at my.roku.com/subscriptions, find MGM+, choose Manage subscription, and turn off auto-renewal. On a Roku device, highlight the MGM+ app tile, press the star button, and choose Manage subscription. Our Roku cancellation guide explains both paths.

Cancel MGM+ Through A Live TV Provider

If MGM+ is an add-on inside YouTube TV, Sling, DIRECTV, Fubo, a cable package, or a phone/internet bundle, cancel it from that provider's add-ons page. Removing the MGM+ app from your TV will not stop that provider from billing you. After canceling, open your provider account again and confirm MGM+ moved from active add-ons to canceled, removed, or expiring.

What Happens After You Cancel?

  • Most subscriptions keep working until the billing period ends. If you paid for the month, you usually keep watching until the renewal date.
  • Provider-billed add-ons may end sooner. Some TV providers remove premium channels immediately or issue a prorated credit.
  • Refunds are not automatic. Canceling normally stops the next charge; it does not guarantee money back for time already paid.
  • Your viewing profile may remain. Canceling billing is different from deleting your MGM+ account.

FAQ

Can I cancel MGM+ inside the TV app?

Usually no. The TV app may show account details, but billing cancellations normally happen on the website, app store, Roku account, Amazon account, or TV provider account that bills you.

Why does MGM+ say I do not have a subscription?

That usually means MGM+ is not the biller. Check your bank statement and subscription emails for Amazon, Apple, Google, Roku, YouTube TV, Sling, DIRECTV, or another provider.

Will deleting the MGM+ app stop billing?

No. Uninstalling the app only removes it from that device. You must cancel the recurring subscription with the company that bills you.
