The app refreshes within a few seconds and you are in. If you subscribe to MGM+ through Prime Video instead, there is nothing to activate — you just watch inside the Prime Video app.

First: Know Which Kind Of MGM+ Subscription You Have

MGM+ (the channel formerly known as EPIX — it rebranded in January 2023, and Amazon now owns MGM) can reach your TV three different ways, and the activation steps depend on which one you use:

Direct subscription — you signed up at mgmplus.com or inside the MGM+ app. Use your MGM+ email and password at mgmplus.com/activate.

The single most common activation failure is mixing these up — a Prime Video Channels subscription will not log you in to the standalone MGM+ app.

Watching MGM+ Through Prime Video Instead
