First: Confirm Who Charges Your Card

Curiosity Stream offers a pause option for monthly subscribers billed directly through the website. If you just want a break for a busy season, pausing saves you from re-entering payment details later — but it is only available on direct monthly plans, not annual plans or store-billed subscriptions.

Cancel Through The Apple App Store (iPhone/iPad)

Open Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions.
Tap Curiosity Stream.
Tap Cancel Subscription and confirm.

Open the Google Play Store and tap your profile picture.
Tap Payments & subscriptions, then Subscriptions.

You keep access through the end of the billing period you already paid for.
Annual plans renew annually — Curiosity Stream's Standard plan is $39.99/year and the Smart Bundle is $69.99/year as of August 2026, so a forgotten renewal is a full year, not a month. Set a reminder a few days before the renewal date.
Monthly plans run $4.99/month (Standard) or $9.99/month (Smart Bundle, which adds Tastemade, Nebula, SOMM TV, Topic, Da Vinci Kids, and One Day University).
Your watchlist and account survive cancellation, so resubscribing later picks up where you left off.

Why is there no cancel button on my account page?

Because Curiosity Stream is not your biller. If you subscribed through Apple, Google, Roku, or Amazon, the Plan and Payment section will not control billing — cancel on that platform instead.

Can I get a refund on an annual plan?

Cancellation stops the next renewal rather than refunding the current one, and store-billed subscriptions follow that store's refund policy.
