To activate YouTube on Xbox One,
- Go to Sign-in & Settings and choose “SIGN IN”.
- An activation code displays on the screen.
- On a desktop, go to www.youtube.com/activate.
- Enter the activation code shown on the Xbox One.
- Click “Allow Access”.
To watch YouTube videos on Xbox One, you need to activate the YouTube app. Then, you can watch YouTube videos on the Xbox One.
With the YouTube app for Xbox One, you can also view your subscribed channels, search for content, and use your mobile device as a remote.
Furthermore, you can watch YouTube videos available in 4K on Xbox One S and Xbox One X models. The maximum resolution for the original Xbox One console is 1080p.
