How To Activate BET+ On Your TV
To activate BET+ on your TV: 1. Install and open the BET+ app on your streaming device or smart TV. 2. Select Sign In (or Start Your Free Trial if you are new) — the app displays a short activation code. 3. On your phone or computer, go to bet.plus/activate. 4. Sign in to your BET+ account and enter the code from your TV screen, then select Activate. The app refreshes within a few seconds and you are ready to stream.
First: bet.plus/activate vs bet.com/activate
These are two different sites for two different apps, and mixing them up is the number-one reason activation "fails":
- bet.plus/activate is for the BET+ app — the standalone subscription streaming service. You sign in with the BET+ account (email and password) you created when you subscribed.
- bet.com/activate is for the BET app — the cable-channel companion app. You sign in there with your TV provider credentials, not a BET+ account.
If the site keeps rejecting your login, you are almost certainly on the wrong one for the app your TV is showing.
How To Activate BET+ Device By Device
Roku
Add the BET+ channel from the Channel Store, open it, and choose Sign In. Note the code, visit bet.plus/activate on your phone or computer, sign in, enter the code, and select Activate. The Roku screen refreshes automatically.
Amazon Fire TV
Install the BET+ app from the Appstore, open it, and pick Sign In. Enter the on-screen code at bet.plus/activate in a browser and the Fire TV app unlocks within seconds.
Apple TV
Download BET+ from the App Store, open it, choose Sign In, and enter the displayed code at bet.plus/activate.
Samsung, LG & Vizio Smart TVs
Find BET+ in your TV's app store (Smart Hub on Samsung, Content Store on LG, the app row on Vizio), install and open it, then select Sign In or Start Your Free Trial. Enter the code the TV displays at bet.plus/activate in any web browser.
Android TV / Google TV
Install BET+ from Google Play, open the app, select Sign In, and complete the code step at bet.plus/activate.
Subscribed Through Prime Video Or The Roku Channel?
BET+ is also sold as an add-on subscription inside other platforms, and those versions never show an activation code. If you subscribed through Prime Video Channels, you watch BET+ shows inside the Prime Video app with your Amazon login. If you subscribed through The Roku Channel, you watch inside The Roku Channel app — our guide to watching The Roku Channel covers where that app runs. Your Amazon or Roku credentials will not work in the standalone BET+ app, which is the other big source of "my password doesn't work" complaints.
BET+ Plans And Prices
BET+ sells two tiers (current prices from the official BET+ help center — verify at signup):
- BET+ Essential — $5.99 per month or $54.99 per year. The full catalog with limited ads, streaming on up to two devices at once.
- BET+ Premium — $10.99 per month or $104.99 per year. Ad-free (apart from short promos for BET+ originals), streaming on up to four devices at once.
A free trial is offered to new subscribers on most signup paths — the app's Start Your Free Trial button will spell out the current terms before you commit.
Activation Code Not Working?
- Codes expire quickly. If you took a few minutes to get to the website, back out of the sign-in screen on the TV and reopen it to generate a fresh code.
- Check which account you are signed into. The browser must be signed into the same BET+ account that holds the subscription — not a family member's account or an old email.
- Type the code exactly. Watch for easy mix-ups like 0/O and 1/I.
- Confirm the subscription is active. Sign in at bet.plus on a computer; if it prompts you to subscribe, your plan has lapsed.
- Force-close and reopen the app, and restart the device if the code screen hangs.
FAQ
How many devices can I activate?
You can install BET+ on all your devices; the plan controls simultaneous streams — two at once on Essential, four on Premium.
Do I need cable to use BET+?
No. BET+ is a standalone service — no TV provider required. Only the separate BET app (bet.com/activate) needs a cable login.
Can I manage or cancel the subscription later?
Yes — where depends on who bills you (bet.plus directly, Amazon, Roku, or an app store). Our hub on finding and canceling all your subscriptions shows where each biller hides the cancel button.
Is activating BET+ different from other streaming apps?
No — it is the same code-on-TV, enter-on-phone pattern used by most services. If you have done MGM+ or Philo, this will feel identical.
