How Much Is The ESPN App? ESPN Unlimited Pricing

The ESPN app has two paid plans as of August 2026: ESPN Select at $12.99 per month (or $129.99 per year) and ESPN Unlimited at $29.99 per month (or $299.99 per year). Select is the renamed version of the old ESPN+ service, while Unlimited is the flagship plan that streams every ESPN linear network — ESPN, ESPN2, ESPNU, SEC Network, ACC Network, ESPNEWS, and ESPN Deportes — plus everything that used to live on ESPN+, all inside the one ESPN app. Neither plan has had a price increase since ESPN's direct-to-consumer service launched in August 2025, and both can be bundled with Disney+ and Hulu or with Fox One to knock the effective price down.

This is essentially ESPN+ with a new name: thousands of live out-of-market and niche events (including PGA Tour Live golf, international soccer, UFC prelims, and college sports), 30 for 30 documentaries, and on-demand originals. It does not include the ESPN cable channels.
ESPN Unlimited — $29.99 per month or $299.99 per year. Everything in Select, plus live streams of every ESPN network. That means Monday Night Football, NBA and NHL national games, MLB, the College Football Playoff and National Championship, College GameDay, SportsCenter, First Take, and the full slate of SEC, ACC, and Big 12 coverage.

The ESPN app itself is free to download, and there is a limited free tier with select highlights, news, and occasional unlocked events — but live games overwhelmingly sit behind Select or Unlimited.

Unlimited is ESPN's answer to cord-cutters who only ever kept cable for sports.
