Showtime is one of the more popular streaming services available. With a lot of exclusive content, you may want to subscribe to Showtime to watch some of their biggest hits like Billions, Shameless, and more. However, there may be a lull period where you wish to save money instead. If you’ve watched just about all of the content Showtime has to offer, it may be time to take a step back and subscribe to something else for the time being. If so, you’ll want to familiarize yourself with how to cancel. Below, you will learn how to cancel showtime and how to re-subscribe if you ever want to.
How To Cancel Showtime:
1. Go To The Website
To get Showtime canceled, you’ll want to head to the website from your mobile or desktop browser. You need to click through the website to get your subscription canceled. You won’t be able to do it through the app. To manage your account, you’ll need to log in and head to “Your Account.” From there, you can select “Cancel Your Subscription” and you will be prompted with further instructions.
2. Third Party
If you didn’t subscribe to Showtime through the website itself, you’ll need to go through the third-party that you used. This will vary based on where you signed up.
- Fire TV
If you subscribed with an Amazon Fire TV device, you will want to go to your Amazon account either on the website or on a device. From there, you can head to “Your Account” and find where your subscriptions are located. You can cancel from this screen.
- Android Devices
If you subscribed using an Android device whether it be a mobile phone, tablet, or Android TV – you’ll want to cancel through the Google Play Store. You can head to your profile and then to the subscriptions section. That’s where you can manage your subscriptions and choose to cancel.
- Apple TV or Apple Devices
If you have Apple devices and/or an Apple TV and you want to cancel, you’ll be doing so through the iTunes store. You can go to the iTunes Store on your Mac or PC. You can also do the same thing through your iPhone or iPad. Simply navigate to Subscriptions in your profile. From there, you can find where it shows your Showtime subscription and cancels.
- Roku
If you have a Roku device and you want to cancel your Showtime subscription, navigate to my.roku.com/account. From there, you can click on “Manage Your Subscriptions.” At that point, you can find your subscription and cancel it. You can even do this through your Roku device directly. Go to your home screen and head to “Manage Subscription.” You can cancel it from this screen.
- Other Devices
There is a multitude of other devices that you can subscribe to Showtime with. You will want to go directly to the third-party store or your account and find where to manage subscriptions. If you cannot find it, you can always chat, email, or call support to get it canceled for you.
