What is Goth? The Goth subculture is made up of people who see the beauty in things that others consider dark and unconventional. A Goth loves all things that are dark and mysterious.

The subculture came to be through a style of rock music derived from punk, typically with apocalyptic or mystical lyrics.

Goths are not members of a cult. They do not worship the devil. They are not violent. They simply have a different perspective on life and their surroundings.

There are many types of Goth styles. For example, romantic Goth. Common features of romantic Goths are velvet and lace, flowy crowns and the love of poetry and literature. Gothic Victorian clothing is popular these Goths.

The goth subculture has grown so much that it now has sub-subcultures within the group. Each with their own beliefs, styles, taste in music, and so much more.

Goths are found around the world and originate from diverse backgrounds, ethnicities, nationalities, etc. However, there is no denying that the Goth subculture is very big in the UK, Japan, and Germany.

Finally, Goth is not a phase. It is something that you are or aren’t. It ingrained in your soul, your mind, your body. It’s who you are.
