Unfortunately, HBO Max isn’t available directly on Roku. However, there are a few workarounds that you can use to stream HBO Max on your Roku. Here’s what to do:
- Enable screen mirroring on your Roku device.
- Select “Settings” and then “System.”
- Under the “Screen mirroring” option, select “Screen mirroring mode” and make sure either “Prompt” or “Always allow” is checked.
Once enabled, you can cast your screen to the Roku enabled TV and view HBO Max. But, the feature only works with Windows computers an d Android devices.
We’ll update the article once Roku and HBO Max reach a deal which allows you to install the official HBO Max app on Roku.
