On Febuary 29, there will be a reading of the play American Apartheid performed in the Dunwoody auditorium.
The play takes place during the Atlanta Race Riot in 1906, which lasted four days, and the plot focuses on a multiracial woman and her love for a black man and a white man during that time.
The play was written by Wade Marbaugh and Paul Hudson and is directed by Michael Chechopoulos.
Students who are interested in having a deeper understanding of what it was like to live in a society where the Jim Crow laws were accepted should free up their schedules on February 29th from 2:00 p.m. to 3:15 p.m.
